Lowe's Certified Guns LLC was established by Paul Lowe JULY 4th, 2003. Paul was looking for a simpler lifestyle that would keep him at home after averaging 150,000+ miles a year in air travel for the previous 10 years.
Paul has been married for 32
years to his wife Leslie and they have two adult children. He is a retired
executive of a fortune 500 company and a graduate of The George Washington
University in
Washington
DC. Paul currently owns and operates Lowe’s
Certified Guns LLC in Sellersville PA and regularly consults in new product
development for various companies. His interests
include competitive shooting, wood working, collecting and using antique
photography equipment and collecting and using shaving implements of the late
19th and early 20th century. He has recently given up his
motorcycle and is now a student glider pilot working towards his private
pilot’s license. He is a 4th degree Knight of Columbus and a
graduate of the 2 year lay ministry program at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary
in
Philadelphia
Paul has been a collector of military firearms for over 30 years and has been a guest lecturer at Universities and Colleges. Lectures included an overview of The Evolution of Military Small-arms and Tactics in the 18th, 19th and 20th Century as well as the effect of small arms technology on the outcome of specific battles.
Paul's business partner, Tor, has hunting experience throughout the USA , South Africa and Canada. He has taken Black Bear , Deer, Impala, Zebra and Water Buffalo with a bow.
Sean Reed joins us as Lead Gunsmith with a wide array of firearms experience. He served in the U.S. Army (Infantry branch) for 3 years and the National Guard as a reservist. He was the lead firearm instructor and armorer for a New Jersey police department for 18 out of his 22 years of police service. Additionally, he was a founding member of the police department’s SWAT team and served in the capacity of team leader for three years. Most recently Sean spent a year in Afghanistan on contract with the U.S. Department of State as a driver and gunner on the Emergency Response Team, at the U.S Embassy in Kabul. He also served as the sole gunsmith in a retail outdoor sports store for four years and has had his own business for an additional four years. He is a factory trained armorer for Colt, H&K, Beretta and Glock products. Sean has recently relocated to PA and looks forward to serving you.
In addition to Paul & Tor, our outstanding helpful staff has an additional 60 years hands on experience with Shotguns, Rifles, Handguns, Cowboy Action Shooting , Firearm Safety, Personal defense ,Marksmanship, and Long range black powder competition.
