Introduction

Our Master Gunsmith's extensive experience is reflected by his long history with firearms. John M Robinson Gunsmithing, Inc was established in 1990. The business began as a humble Gunsmithing operation, out of John's home. Later that year, John purchased Lutz’s Gun Shop in Southampton, PA with his wife Bobbi. The Robinson's owned and operated this full time retail shop for ten years, under the name Robinson’s Gun and Tackle. Inventory included firearms, ammunition, holsters, archery, clothing, fishing gear and tackle, live bait and paintball supplies.

Together they built the business and made the basement of the store into a full time gunsmithing operation. This was a great compliment to the retail business and eventually it became clear that gunsmithing could stand alone as a full time business.

At that point the Robinsons closed the retail business and relocated the gunsmithing shop a few miles away to a new location, also in Southampton. Robinson’s Gunsmithing grew for 5 years' adding custumers untill John could not keep up with customer volume. Having many offers John chose to join Lowe's Certified Guns, LLC in Sellersville, PA.

The new location will allow John to spend more time gunsmithing and reduce turn-around time, resulting in happier customers! One of John's partners is currently the gunsmith at Lowe's and he will be spending part of his time working with me which will also expedite service. Together, a full time, full service gun store and the gunsmithing operation will make for a great, one-stop, gun enthusiast’s haven for both sales and service.
