We have appraised bought and sold over 15,000 guns and this is the finest specimen of a WWII era American field grade shotgun we have seen. Most field grade guns were heavily used and abused..this one was a gift to a returning WWII veteran and according to him, and verified by our inspection, probably has less than 100 rds through it. Turns out he liked it so much he only hunted with his beat up Ithaca side by side gun he had prior to service. The only defect is a chip out of the buttplate. Look at the color in the case hardening - it looks better in person! All Original manufactured between 1944 and 1948

Used L.C. Smith Field Grade 12 gauge Shotgun with original metal finish, bead sights, butt plate recoil pad; full(L) improved chokes; 2 3/4" chamber; 14 1/4" LOP; 30" barrel.
