Guns and the Law
ALL modern firearms must be shipped FFL dealer to FFL dealer. You will be subject to and must pass an FBI check (NICS “Instant Check”) when you receive your firearm at your hometown dealer. Some of these weapons can be transferred with a C&R Collector license - C&R Collector guns must be on the approved ATF list.
Lowe's Certified Guns LLC is available only to individuals who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. Our services are not available to minors. Also, Lowe's Certified Guns LLC restricts the ability of users to place orders based on their geographic location - International users are not permitted to buy in any Firearms categories. If you are not a U.S. citizen or reside outside the U.S., please refrain from using our site. Firearms may only be shipped to a Federal Firearms Dealer (FFL). A legal copy of the 'ship to' FFL must be received by Lowe's within 10 days of purchase of a firearm or the order will be canceled and a $25 restocking fee will be assessed. Restocking fee will not be waived for any reason including, but not exclusive of, order cancellation. Guns will only be shipped to the exact address on the FFL - no exceptions for any reason. All ATF and National Firearms Act rules will be followed .
All users of Lowe's Certified Guns are expected to abide by all Federal, State, and Local laws governing the sale of firearms. It is the obligation of the buyer, outside of the state of PA to know their state and local laws regarding such a sale, and to abide by the laws as set forth. Buyers are expected to use our service in a legal manner, consistent with standards of good citizenship. Any buyer found to be breaking laws in the use of our system will be barred from our site, and the proper authorities notified. Lowe's Certified Guns LLC will cooperate with law enforcement in the prosecution of any individual suspected of breaking firearms law.
Inspection Period:
We give the Buyer a maximum of three (3) business days to inspect firearms purchased from us via the Internet (count starts on date and time shipper certifies delivery). If during the inspection period of a firearm the Buyer decides to decline the sale, it is the Buyer's responsibility to first contact Lowe's Certified Guns LLC (215 257 8385) by telephone of his/her decision to return the firearm,and to pay for return shipping and any other fees related to the shipping of that firearm back to the Seller. The Buyer may return a firearm to Lowe's Certified Guns for a full refund (as long as we have given the buyer a return authorization number - guns returned without a return authorization number will be refused) for any reason. Upon receipt of the returned merchandise IN THE SAME CONDITION AND WITH ALL PARTS AS ORIGINALLY SOLD (warning! theft of parts and parts switching will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law!) Lowe's Certified Guns will issue a full refund for the firearm minus shipping. At no time during the inspection period will the Buyer fire the firearm. If the Buyer does fire the firearm at any time during the inspection period, the sale is considered final. Inspection consists of external examination, checking bore and having head space checked by a gunsmith. No further dis-assembly is permitted to include, but is not limited to, turning any screws or removing any punch pins. In the event the Buyer has declined the sale, Lowe's Certified Guns LLC will only issue a refund AFTER the firearm in question has been returned to Lowe's.
If you are dissatisfied with your order for any reason, within 3 days of delivery to you or your assignee, whichever comes first, you can return your items for a prompt refund or exchange. Refunds for items returned within thirty days (refunds after 3 days of delivery are given at the sole discretion of Lowe's) of the purchase date will be credited in the form of a credit redeemable on your next purchase. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. If you have an exchange for the same dollar amount as the original purchase, no additional shipping or handling charges will be incurred.
Canceled orders are charged a 10% restocking charge. Layaway deposits of 20% are not refundable. All used guns come with a 90 day guarantee ; if your certified gun requires repair return it to us ; if we can not repair the gun we will refund the price you paid for the gun. Abuse of the firearm , including but not limited to , use of reloads or improper ammunition, damage caused by bore obstructions, alterations to the firearms operating mechanisms, are excluded.
We guarantee that the Guns you buy from us are as advertised. If at any time a recognized firearms expert certifies in writing that a gun we sold to you is a forgery we will buy that gun back at the price you paid. Our guarantee includes re welded military receivers. Exclusions include disclosures in our listings and replica firearms that have all original markings intact.
We make every effort to keep our prices and inventory up-to-date; however, we reserve the right to change prices without notice. In the event a price on the list is different (more or less) than the price posted in our retail store, our staff has been instructed to sell the gun at the price listed in our retail store.
Auction Winners and Bidders - We will close an auction early if the item sells in our store before a bid is placed in a basic auction. In the rare case we have a reserve auction, the only way to be sure to get the auction Item is to use "buy it now" and end the auction yourself before the reserve is met. Once the auction ends the item goes to the high bidder regardless of any other offers we receive in our store or at our Gun Shows.
Policy for people that fail to honor their commitments made when placing an auction bid:
When a bid is placed at an auction the user makes a legally binding agreement to purchase the item if won when bidding closes or, if applicable, using "BUY IT NOW". LCG will honor any legal contract made with any person or entity. Conversely, LCG will pursue all remedies against those who do not honor their contracts with LCG including, but not limited to, placing the auction purchase with a professional debt collection agency. Bidder is responsible for all collection costs incurred as a result of failing to pay for an auction win within 10 days from auction end.
